Prince William visits Acorns Hospice in Selly Oak to celebrate 30 year anniversary

Speaking after the visit, Steve said:

“It was fantastic to be at Acorns Children’s Hospice in Selly Oak today as they welcomed HRH Prince William to tell him about the amazing work they do to provide specialist care for life limited and life threatened children and their families.
As always it was brilliant to meet the inspirational children and young people they support and to chat to Bradley who had the important job of giving Prince William the tour of the hospice.

2018 is a special year for Acorns as they celebrate their 30 year Anniversary. It was particularly lovely to hear people telling Prince William of their memories of when his mother Diana, Princess of Wales, officially opened the Selly Oak Hospice in 1988.”
