As the Member of Parliament for Birmingham Selly Oak I think it is important to engage with as many of my constituents as possible. I do this in different ways, (meetings, letters, advice bureaux, email, telephone and social media) and for a number of reasons – to ask for constituent’s views on local and national issues; to invite constituents to meeting and events; to update constituents on my work in Parliament and the constituency and to increase awareness of my advice bureaux.
