Steve McCabe MP for Birmingham Selly Oak has written to Matt Hancock, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care to share his constituents concerns about testing and demand answers on what is being done to fix the chaos.
Speaking in the House of Commons, the Birmingham MP also urged the Health Secretary to stop with the excuses, accept there is a problem and get on with fixing it.
Constituents have been telling Steve they cannot access testing slots for a drive-through or walk-in site or even a home test but that testing sites like the one at University of Birmingham are empty. Those who have been offered a test have been offered slots as far as Inverness and when someone does manage to get a test they are waiting days for the results.
