Steve McCabe calls for nominations for NHS Parliamentary Awards 2020

As part of the NHS Parliamentary Awards, MPs have the opportunity to nominate and thank the outstanding NHS workers in their constituencies.

This year the NHS has faced unprecedented challenges, battling the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The general public has really become aware this year of how much NHS workers do for us and now is a great time to draw recognition to those who have gone above and beyond. The NHS Parliamentary Awards 2020 are an invaluable opportunity to shed light on the individuals and the organisations that make up the NHS. There are 10 categories open to nominations, including two new categories for 2020: The Lifetime Achievement Award and The NHS Rising Star Award. You can find more information on the categories here:

Steve would like nominations from healthcare organisations, as well as members of the public.

Steve McCabe MP said:

“Our NHS workers have worked tirelessly to take care of us while being pushed to their limits with all they have faced this year. They have made so many sacrifices but they have never given up.

This is a wonderful opportunity to show our NHS workers how much we appreciate everything they do. ”

For your nominations to be considered, please email them to me on  by 5pm on Wednesday 26th August.
