Steve Mccabe MP Encourages Constituents To Work With Him To Look After Our Planet

Last Thursday, as part of a series of monthly talks held at Stirchley Library, Sustainable Stirchley hosted “Getting your voice heard in UK Parliament,” to encourage local residents to speak up about the environment.

At the event, constituents found out how to take action and make an impact on decisions made in the UK Parliament. They discovered the tools they can use to influence debates, decisions and legislation.  This talk focused on environmental issues and campaigning at Parliament, as well as building effective relationships with MPs.

At the event, constituents were shown a video from Steve McCabe MP on the breadth of his constituency, local initiatives and national policy he has been involved with and importantly, how to get in touch with him to gain support on issues that matter to them.

Steve McCabe MP said:

“I’m sorry I couldn’t attend this great event but I am pleased that so many of my constituents want to take a more active role in taking care of our planet and I do hope some of them get in touch with ideas on what I can do to support them.”
