Local MP is getting ready to throw himself out of a plane for charity

Local MP, Steve McCabe is preparing to take part in a daring tandem skydive for charity.

Steve will be making the 15,000ft jump at the end of April, luckily he’ll be securely attached to a professional. Steve is hoping to raise as much money as possible for Acorns Children’s Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Steve McCabe MP said:

“Both charities do fantastic work and I’m really eager to try and raise as much as I can to support them. Acorns run a network of care for life limited and life threatened children and young people, and their families, across the midlands and I’ve seen first-hand the remarkable work they carry out including at their Selly Oak Hospice. I am also excited to be raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support who provide incredible support for those affected by cancer.

“I’m not quite sure how I got roped into this one but I couldn’t be doing it in aid of two worthier causes. I’m jumping at the end of April so it looks like I’m really going to need your help folks.”
