Environment Agency Selly Park North Flood Scheme drop in sessions

Ahead of works set to start on the Selly Park North Flood Scheme the Environment Agency will be holding two drop in information sessions.

One session will be aimed at residents from Selly Park and one is aimed at residents in the Harborne Lane area. Details below:

Selly Park – Tuesday 7 March, 2pm – 8pm – Christ Church, 953 Pershore Road, Birmingham, B29 7PS

Harborne Lane – Monday 6 March, 2pm – 8pm – St. Peter’s Church, Old Church Road, Birmingham, B17 0BB

The drop in sessions are an opportunity for residents to put any outstanding questions to the Environment Agency about the scheme. Severn Trent Water will also be at these sessions to get further feedback from residents about the drainage issues people have previously raised concerns about.

Construction on the scheme will start at the end of March/beginning of April 2017. This work should be completed by Autumn with an approximate timescale of 6 months.
