Steve McCabe welcomes exciting funding opportunity for charities and non-profit organisations across Selly Oak

Steve McCabe MP is encouraging organisations across his constituency to take part in an exciting opportunity to secure grants of up to £35k.

Natwest have launched the first round of their 2017 Skills and Opportunities Fund which is open to charities, non-profit organisations, community groups, state-funded schools and colleges across the constituency. In total £1m has been allocated to fund projects across the UK and Ireland. The focus for this funding is to support organisations that help people in local communities develop, create or access the skills and opportunities they need to help themselves; skills that will enable them to get into work or start a business, now or in the future. Along with possible grants, Natwest are also offering their skills and expertise to help you get your project off the ground.

Steve McCabe MP said:

“I’m very pleased to see that Natwest are rolling out their Skills and Opportunity Fund again this year. I’ve seen first-hand some of the fantastic work being done by non-profit organisations and community groups here in Selly Oak constituency. There will plenty of well deserving groups across Selly Oak who are eligible to apply for this funding and I would encourage them all to do so.”

Applications for round 1 of the Skills & Opportunities Fund are open now open and will remain open until midday on Friday 24 February 2017.

Steve is encouraging any local organisation that think they could benefit from this opportunity to find out more at http://skillsandopportunitiesfund.natwest.com/apply.html
