Protection of Family Homes Bill delayed until New Year

Steve McCabe MP’s Protection of Family Homes Private Members Bill was stopped short last week during its Second Reading. Steve’s Bill was number 4 on the order paper but it was only debated for very briefly and was adjourned until January.

Steve McCabe MP said:

“I was disappointed that my Bill didn’t receive its Second Reading last week but I will be back in the New Year to have another go.

“In the meantime I am working with colleagues in the House of Lords and I am pushing to have key elements of my Bill included in the Neighbourhood and Planning Bill. After all this time I am not giving up now.”
