Steve McCabe MP is encouraging organisations across his constituency to take part in an exciting opportunity to secure grants of up to £35k.
RBS have launched round 2 of their Skills and Opportunities Fund which is open to charities, social enterprises, community groups, state-funded schools and colleges across the constituency. In total £2.5m has been allocated to fund projects across the UK and Ireland. The focus for this funding is to support organisations that help people in disadvantaged communities develop, create or access the skills and opportunities they need to help themselves; skills that will enable them to get into work or start a business, now or in the future. Along with possible grants, RBS are also offering their skills and expertise to help you get your project off the ground.
Steve McCabe MP said:
“I’m very pleased to see that RBS are rolling out their Skills and Opportunity Fund again this year. I work closely with a wide range of fantastic organisations and community groups across Selly Oak and have seen first-hand some of the great work they are doing. I know there are plenty of well deserving candidates across Selly Oak eligible to apply for funding and I would encourage them all to do so.”
Applications for round 2 of the Skills & Opportunities Fund are open from midday 19 August until midday 9 September 2016.
Steve is encouraging any local organisation that think they could benefit from this opportunity to find out more at http://skillsandopportunitiesfund.rbs.co.uk/
